“The Ministry of Health of Russia issued a permit to conduct a clinical study of a biomedical cell product to restore the cartilage tissue of the knee joint, developed by Russian scientists,” Murashko quoted TASS as saying.
He specified that this is the first biomedical cell product in Russia submitted for state registration.
According to the minister, this product is able to replace damaged tissue, saving the patient from the need for traumatic endoprosthetics.
Russian scientists have also created nanoparticles to treat the liver and prevent poisoning.
